"I spoke to a lot of insurance agents over the last week, and Jeremiah was the best, he was very responsive, friendly, and easy to work with. While other companies took their time, I never felt like I was an afterthought. "I have been a Statefarm customer for over 20 years. I was satisfied, until the branch I worked with closed. My account was transferred to another branch, ran by Alex Ferry. His office decided to raise our prices almost quarterly for the 3-4 years I was insured by him. They also have terrible customer service. When I would call in, they would often suggest I could do something myself instead of being helpful and doing the job they, supposedly, do. When I was rear ended they insisted I pay the deductible in order to get the claim going and that I would be refunded later. It took almost a year, and many calls, to get them to send me the money that they owed me. They also insisted several times that I was at fault and even listed me as at fault on the official claim despite being obviously rear ended. At what point is this type of behavior considered theft? Very disappointing that Alex Ferry and the State Farm branch that he runs would do so very little for the customers that they "help". I have had good experiences with State Farm in general, but not this branch. Edit: The other insurer was state farm, so the response they gave is BS."
We responded:
"Thank you for your feedback. in short, rate adjustments are determined at the state level and occur on a six-month cycle, so this was not a reflection of our office or quarterly adjustments, but rather State Farm and adjustments made every six months. We regret any inconvenience you experienced during the claim process, but since it was not your fault and had to go through subrogation, we are at the mercy and timeline of the other party's insurance. We are dedicated to serving our clients and community, but unfortunately there are a lot of items out of our control as a small business. We appreciate your continue support of State Farm!"
